Christmas season is officially upon us! Christmas carols are now playing in store.... You can follow our playlist on Spotify, look for Rustic Charm Interiors- Christmas Season.
Create an inviting entry into your home and showcase your sense of style as you welcome guests this Christmas season. Even in the smallest space, a console table is a must have item in any home and is a great way to creating a holiday vignette. Our Barrow console is perfect for defining an entry especially when space is limited. Consider our Toulouse Console if you want to make a grand and timeless impression. At Christmas time, it's always nice to add festive cheer and change up your console styling. Here are some simple ways you can create a welcoming vignette this Christmas.
If you have a mirror above your console, why not add a simple boxwood wreath. Add an elegant ribbon in your Christmas colours to make this space come alive. Switch out artwork or mirrors and make a bold statement with one large wreath hanging above your console.
Declutter your console and make way for a beautiful nativity scene. Create magic and wonder with the addition of fairy lights throughout.
Elevate Christmas baubles by placing them under a dome or cloche and set on your console. I usually like to add a mix of classic colours in various sizes (shiny, matte and sparkly) for a collected look, or you could group them by colour if you have various domes.
Pine cones pilled high in your favourite decorative bowl or basket creates a relaxed and cosy feel. Add your favourite candle and you're set!
A grouping of mini Christmas trees is all you need to welcome the season. Add collected pieces for a personal touch. I love to add little zinc and white villages throughout the trees to create a scene. They look so beautiful day or night, but especially at night when lit up.
We hope you feel inspired to start decorating your console for Christmas. It doesn't take much to add some festive cheer and make your guests feel welcome. Follow us on Instagram and Pinterest for more Christmas decorating ideas.
