Due to the hygroscopic nature of timber, physical vibration during freight, changes in temperature, and the static paint finish, hairline cracks will occur in the paint finish, especially along glue lines and joints. If you are after a ‘perfect’ finish, opt for painted composites such as MDF or plywood.
